WIITAD’s recent webinar, Real Talk: What We Wish We Knew Earlier in Our Careers, brought together three women at different stages of their careers for a candid discussion about growth, challenges, setbacks, and opportunities in the ITAD industry.
The panel featured Bonnie Chen, Account Executive at DRM Worldwide; Katharine Reagan, Chief Revenue Officer at Guardian; and Karen Fedder, Co-Creator of WIITAD and a 16-year ITAD industry veteran. The conversation was moderated by Kimberly Labanauskas of Sims Lifecycle Services and Co-Creator of WIITAD.
The discussion explored how each panelist found her way into ITAD, the challenges faced early in their careers, lessons learned from mistakes and setbacks, and the advice they would give their younger selves today.
The panel also touched on mentorship, networking, professional growth, and how opportunities for women in ITAD have evolved over time. While the conversation centered on women’s experiences, the lessons shared were relevant to professionals at every career stage.
